This customer is involved in the unique craft of miniature landscape making and this furniture set was designed to accommodate their work space while also doubling as a dining table when necessary.
The table’s requirements were very specific: it needed to be powered for all the tiny street lamps, motorized roadways and other electrical items in the landscapes which the artist creates; it needed expansion leaves to flip up on the sides when additional surface area is required; it needed to be on wheels so it can be moved around during the artist’s filming process; and of course it needed to look good in the home for entertaining.
The side table, also riding on casters, is purpose-built to accommodate a 3d printer and storage for filaments and other associated printer materials.
